On the hunt for spicy stories, a seasoned reporter, Bert, goes on the trail of Jack the Ripper -- the famous serial killer who is terrorizing the White Chapel district. Bert goes so far as even falsifying letters from Jack the Ripper and sends them to the police in order to get closer to the story. But his involvement in this affair soon makes him the ideal suspect for the police at Scotland Yard.
